Dr. Jennifer Taylor

Dr. Jennifer Taylor is the Less Stress Vet. She founded HouseCalls for Dogs & Cats in 2002 to help the many dogs, cats, and owners who have had stressful experiences at traditional veterinary hospitals.

Dr. Taylor is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, 2001) and of Marshall University (BA, Communications, 1992). She is licensed through the Veterinary Medical Licensing Board of the State of Ohio and accredited through the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). Dr. Taylor is also a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, the Central Ohio Veterinary Medical Association, the Ohio State University Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society, the Delta Chapter of the Society of Phi Zeta (Honor Society of Veterinary Medicine), and the Veterinary Information Network. Additionally, HouseCalls for Dogs & Cats is a member of the Better Business Bureau of Central Ohio, Inc.

Dr. Taylor's approach to veterinary medicine involves four important facets. First, she is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest medical information and advancements, so that her housecall patients will receive expert medical care. Second, she strives to handle pets gently and lovingly. Third, she recognizes that listening to owner concerns and questions is crucial to understanding the specifics of each patient's unique situation. And fourth, she explains complex medical situations as clearly as possible, so that owners have all of the information they need to make the best possible decisions for their pets.

In her own home, Dr. Taylor cares for three wonderful pets, including Scat the cat and her two dogs, Delilah and Xavier.
