A couple of very relaxed patients who receive their healthcare at home
"After the excellent care Dr. Taylor and her staff gave to my terminally ill dog last year, I thought the least I could do was to send a testimonial on their behalf. Dr. Taylor and her staff were relentless and tireless in their care of my 15 year old Sheena who received what I would describe as hospice care for the last three months of her life. Sheena was fighting a drug resistant infection, but Dr. Taylor never gave up on my Sheena and my Sheena never gave up on living.
Over those 3 months, Sheena saw Dr. Taylor and her staff often. Dr. Taylor was always looking for any measure to make Sheena more comfortable or to attempt to fight Sheena’s infection. Any time I called for advice or an appointment, I was always met with compassion, accommodation, and concern. If it wouldn’t have been for Dr. Taylor’s exceptional care and for her house-call practice, my Sheena never would have made it as long and as comfortable as she did.
When Sheena’s days turned more bad than good, I made the decision to let her go. It was the hardest decision I ever made. In spite of the pain of the experience itself, I was greatly comforted that Sheena was able to leave this world lying in her own bed, in her own house, surrounded by what she loved. Dr. Taylor took such great care of Sheena in her life and then again at the moment of her death.
Dr. Taylor is one of the most compassionate people I have ever met. Further, she is the most thorough veterinarian I have ever known. Because of her exceptional care with my Sheena, she now provides care to all of my pets. The convenience of Dr. Taylor’s practice is only surpassed by her exceptional approach towards animals.
